Claire's house burns down in a California wildfire, seting off a series of events that forces her to face parts of her life she's been denying too long, including her husband's infidelity and her mother's illness. A contemporary, small-cast comedic drama, the play is about dying and living and how we find our way through both.

This female-driven, family dramedy dealing with addiction, death, grief and ultimately the pursuit of navigating your own way to happiness deeply resonated with me and our audiences as well... [who] related with each character, were able to draw connections to their own lives, and were appreciative to see a realistic story onstage, without glossing over the heavy or ugly details of the topics. Truly a beautiful, funny and meaningful experience! -- director Cady Smola
