Lauren "Lojo" Simon is a freelance writer, journalist, ghost writer, speechwriter and playwright who admits that she willingly exploits her ability to write fast and well for anyone who pays her to do so.

Mi Corazon 
chamber reading at University of Idaho
Directed by Sean Parker. Mi Corazon, a one-act play for young audiences, will be performed in Moscow, Idaho, as part of the University's Spring Chamber Reading Series, March 31 to April 3, 2010, in the Kiva Theater. The cast will include: Nicole Serhan, Nellie Dimeler, Lanny Langston, Adrianna Sanchez and Kathleen Thompson Parker.
The Care and Feeding of Wild Birds 
At the University of Nevada at Reno:
Directed by Michael Smith. Wild Birds was chosen as a finalist in the American College Theatre Festival Region VII Ten-Minute Play Competition and will be performed in Reno, Nev., in February 2010.

On Yin Radio:
Directed by Luis Guerrero. Wild Birds will air on Yin Radio in the spring of 2010.

At the North Park Vaudeville Play Festival:
Directed by Dave Good. Wild Birds was produced for the North Park Vaudeville 10-Minute Play Festival in San Diego. Actress Linda Hester won Best Performance in the festival for her role as Grandma.

Heartland 
World premiere at Mira Costa College:
Directed by Eric Bishop. As one of six finalists in Region VIII of the American College Theatre Festival, Heartland was performed in Fullerton, Calif., in February 2009.

At the Dayton Playhouse:
Directed by Linda Dunlevy. Heartland won the Dayton Playhouse FutureFest in Dayton, Ohio.
